Dear Praying Friends,

I’m sure you’ve seen some images from the destruction Hurricane Matthew wreaked across the Caribbean, killing over 1,000 people in Haiti. The storm also caused devastating flooding, flattened communities, and ruined agriculture in the neighboring Dominican Republic, where our mission team is heading in two weeks.

Our missions partnership in the Barahona region of the Dominican Republic works hand in hand with the local church in fulfilling the Great Commission among some of the poorest villages in the Western Hemisphere, facilitating sports outreach, youth empowerment, and community development.

We will be working with orphans, serving Haitian refugees, and doing community outreach with youth and children. We appreciate your prayers for our team and friends in the DR.

In Christ,
Jimmy and Cindy
