Jesus, the eternal Word and true Light, became flesh, revealing God’s glory full of grace and truth. Though many rejected Him, all who received Him became children of God. John the Baptist and the first disciples testify: Behold the Lamb of God, Son of God, King of Israel.
At Cana, Jesus turns water into wine, revealing His glory and deepening His disciples’ faith. Later, He clears the temple, declaring zeal for His Father’s house. John 2 shows Christ as the giver of joy and the purifier of worship, inviting obedience that transforms emptiness into abundance.
Jesus tells Nicodemus that religion cannot save—he must be born again. The Spirit alone gives new life, mysterious yet sovereign. God so loved the world that He gave His Son, lifted up for all who believe. True disciples walk in the light, transformed by grace from above.
Jesus meets a Samaritan woman at the well, offering living water and revealing Himself as Messiah. Many Samaritans believe through her testimony. Later, He teaches His disciples about the harvest and heals an official’s son, showing that His word brings life to all who believe.
At Bethesda, Jesus heals a man crippled for thirty-eight years, sparking Sabbath controversy. He declares His equality with the Father, the giver of life and judge of all. John the Baptist, His works, the Father, and the Scriptures all testify to Him—yet many refuse to believe.
Jesus feeds the hungry, walks on water, and declares Himself the Bread of Life. Many turn away, but Peter confesses, “Lord, to whom shall we go?” John 6 calls us to lasting faith—feeding on Christ, trusting His word, and finding eternal life in Him alone.
John 7 explores the growing tension between Jesus and the religious leaders, the unbelief of His brothers, His divine timing, and the promise of the Spirit as living water. This chapter unveils Christ’s authority, courage, and call to spiritual satisfaction.
John 8 reveals Jesus as the Light of the World who exposes darkness, forgives sin, and calls all people to walk in truth. The chapter confronts hypocrisy, unveils divine identity, and proclaims the freedom that only Christ can give.
John 9 records Jesus healing a man born blind to reveal Himself as the Light of the World. This chapter shows how obedience brings sight, how suffering can display God’s glory, how faith overcomes fear, and how pride blinds Pharisees to truth.
John 10 presents the most tender and profound portrait of Jesus yet: the Good Shepherd—divine in nature, personal in care, sacrificial in love, and eternal in purpose. He guards, guides, and gives life to His sheep. His call is personal, His grip is unbreakable, and His promise is abundant life forever.
